An amazing and very light ring made with vegetable ivory and sterling silver called "The Pirrin Ring"
The ring belongs to the collection called "Silk Rings" because of the silk setting used to keep the weight very low. This setting was created by DeMEC (trying to reduce the unnecessary use of silver), applying pressure to keep the pieces together and avoiding the need of covering the ring completely with silver, making it very light.
The ring uses a 25mm circular piece of vegetable ivory dried naturally for over 10 years (Princess Quality), dyed with natural dyes or in its natural ivory colour.
This Pirrin ring comes in 7 different colours: ivory colour, pink, light brown, turquoise, dark blue and black..
